Centre for Periodontal Regeneration
Gum disease or periodontal disease is one of the commonest causes for tooth loss due to destruction of tooth supporting bone. With timely treatment this can be stopped. For this reason, Dept of Periodontology has a centre dedicated to regenerating lost tooth supporting tissues. Trained staff with latest clinical expertise provide state of the art treatment in dealing with gum disease thereby preventing tooth loss.
The centre has access to advanced technology and latest regenerative materials and is equipped with digital radiography, CBCT, PRF machine and laboratory. Collaboration with Dept of Material Science for development of indigenous bone grafts and membranes assures highest quality materials.
Patients with gum diseases undergo a thorough oral as well as general check-up. Periodontists work along with physicians for advanced treatment of patients with systemic diseases. Minimally invasive procedures are carried out so that patients can resume routine work. The centre is focused on overall wellbeing of the patients.
